Jacob Thiede composer

Jacob Thiede is a composer and saxophonist from Murray, Kentucky, where the smell of tobacco barns and honeysuckle fill the air. He holds a PhD in Music Composition from the University of North Texas where he studied composition with Kirsten Soriano, Panayiotis Kokoras, and Andrew May and saxophone with Eric Nestler. Currently based in Lake Dallas, TX, he currently finds himself as a financial advisor for TIAA. By day he helps clients with financial planning, by night he composes, records, and performs with his local community of saxophonists and for his local church.
